Buff Trades D. Ridder 1.22,1.46,1.71- 2023-2025 2023 2.05
For
M. Parsons- 4.66,5.43,TO-2023-2025 K. Pitts- 8.98,10.47,TO-2023-2025 A. Pierce-1.5,1.8.2.1-2023-2025
GB makes this trade to get a QB. And an early 2nd. With not wanting to jump into the UFA for one and not one of the top 5 picks had to get a QB. Hope to use the draft to replace Parsons and Pitts. Thanks Buff for some great talks to make this happen. Best of luck in 2023

This deal helps me be more competitive for this upcoming season. Thx for the great talk and I wish GB all the best in the upcoming season.

I’m going to have to veto this. Ridder is unproven and I’m not sure he even has a starting spot secure in a year. Parsons is a top 5 IDP for the next 5+ years and Pitts could easily be a top 5-10 TE. You could easily get a QB for cheaper than this if that’s what you are trying to accomplish.

I agree with the above stated. I do understand that he is a starting QB but he is not a proven starting QB and I believe a trade like that really throws off the value.
Taking into account the point differential of this past year (438 total points to Ridder's 55) and an average of 29.5 points compared to Ridder's 13.7 is more than a 50% difference.
This unfortunately will be a veto for me as well. I really would like to give the teams the benefit of the doubt that trades will always work out but I think it sets a bad precedence for future trade value.

Ridder is not proven and could lose the job to Heinecke. Agree with Griffin on the Parsons/Pitts assessment. Too lopsided in my view and would veto as well.
Also concur with Lars - I really would like to give the teams the benefit of the doubt that trades will always work out but I think it sets a bad precedence for future trade value.
