Voting on Trades:
- A trade can either be approved or vetoed with every owner getting one vote
- Teams that are approving the trade will simply say pass and where it stands (i.e. Pass 1-0, Pass 2-0, etc...).
- Teams who wish to veto a trade will state the reasoning behind the veto and update the current count (i.e. Veto 0-1, Veto 1-1, etc..).
- Teams may change their mind on a decision, but must do so on a new reply thread (NO EDITING OR DELETING PREVIOUS REPLIES).
- They must also state why they are changing their vote, regardless of pass/veto.
- A trade is deemed Approved or Vetoed once it receives 5 votes of approval/veto.
For a trade to be voted on it has to be set up in the right way:
Things that can be traded:
- Players (under contract)
- Draft picks (2 years in advance)
- Salary Cap ($10M MAX per year)
- Contract Restructures (1 per team per year)
Other rules that apply are:
- Trades may never put a team over the cap, unless it is stated that a player is being waived, sent to the Practice Squad or being put on IR to bring the cap hit below the maximum.
- Adding players incentives in deals is allowed. For example: I want to trade a 2nd round pick for a RB, but if they RB surpasses 1000 rushing yards on the season, the 2nd turns into a 1st, or if the RB does not surpass 500 rushing yards that 2nd turns into a 3rd
- If a player is being stated that he is being waived due to an incoming trade, you must take into account that if the player goes unsigned you will be liable for some of his salary.
- You may not trade any unsigned players currently on your roster. This includes both UFAs and RFAs.
