Cardinals trade Josh Jacobs Deatrich Wise 2026 Draft Pick, Round 2 (Arizona Cardinals) Jets trade Kwity Paye Christian Harris Devin Lloyd
2023 Draft Pick, Round 1 Pick 24 2026 Draft Pick, Round 3 (New York Jets)
Jets accept. Trade done twice on fantrax due to the first round pick not being included in the trade offer the first time.
Jets acquire a young stud RB in Jacobs while moving defense depth and the late 1st round pick.
Nice back and forth with Kyle. Best of luck to the Cardinals this season

Accept. Jacobs is a great rb but I’m not sure if last season’s production is sustainable. I’m looking to get some defensive starters because I’m losing a few this offseason. The pick can also help me get younger on some positions. Good dealing with you!

Veto
Seems way too one sided for me.
2 stud ILB with 3 cheap years left A really good DL with 2 years left AND a 1st
For Jacobs on 1 year and a likely expensive resign and a 90th ranked DL.

Allow me to retort. Jacobs - stud running back at 25 years old. Either cheap franchise tag or cheap contract extension (Raiders aren't going to pay him mega bucks) and less than I can get as a FA My First round pick (#24) - not going to get a stud RB there Defensive guys - I don't care. I am deep there and I got a defender back in the deal
And who is stud LB that is better than Jacobs as a RB? The two LB I kept on my team are way better than anyone I offered in the trade

Josh Jacobs - 353.55 Deatrich Wise - 155.65
Kwity Paye - 134 Christian Harris - 141.7 Devin Lloyd - 180.75
Points wise do not see the issue. The LB I kept are
Isaiah Simmons - 214.15 Jordyn Brooks - 243.05
No issue
Only question should be the value of the first round pick and I don't see high value at #24 vs what Jacobs could give me

PPG
Paye 11 Lloyd 11 Harris 12
Jacobs 21 Wise 9
I have no problem in the player swap as it seems equal.
My issue is why are you having to throw in a 1st when Jacobs is in limbo IRL. It would be one thing if he had a contract and stability. For all you know, he gets traded to a committee situation. The simple fact that we don't know negates the need for a 1st to sweeten the pot, in my opinion, which is what I am basing my vote off of.

Christian McCaffrey getting 19.55 in league
Derrick Henry getting 15.5 in league
Alvin Kamara getting 16.09 in league - less production
75% or more of the RB who score less the Jacobs cost more than him.

When were those 3 traded in this league?

That was to point out salary disparity

I never made that part of my concern though.
