I would like to avoid 2 things for the playoffs run.
-for playoffs to not start week 14 with that being the last week of byes and 6 NFL teams are on bye weeks which leads to alot of players not being available for a 1 week playoff span.
-for the superbowl to not be played week 18 of the regular season with the possibility of starting caliber players being benched due to real life playoff runs/teams not risking players health for a lost season

Suggestion: 7 teams (3 byes) from each conference starting week 13 & skip week 14 completely
Week 13: Wild Card Week 14: *SKIP* Week 15: Divisional Week 16: Conference Championship Week 17: Super Bowl

I need some clarification. For starters I still would prefer to avoid any teams on an actual bye week and week 13 has 2 teams. But I think I'm missing the layout of this proposal. I'm thinking it's 14 teams total but is it 3 teams with a bye week or 3 teams from each conference with a bye week

Same exact structure as IRL — 4 division winners + 3 wild card teams
Seems like the alternatives are fewer than 7 playoff teams, starting playoffs during massive week 14 byes, and/or championship during week 18 — all of which look like less ideal options imo
